Growing 401(k)/high net worth RIA is looking for a Client Service Specialist to work with the firm’s principal and team in a role where you’ll act as a liaison between clients and custodians, prepare and process paperwork for client accounts, coordinate meetings, money movements, investment reports, database management, processes receivables, and other various functions. Familiarity with brokerage accounts – including IRAs, trusts, and organizations is required.

Your interpersonal approach will help you develop and maintain meaningful client relationships with ease. Being able to anticipate needs and provide support will be great assets as you handle day-to-day interactions with the team, clients and custodians via phone, email, or in-person meetings.

We are looking for someone who desires to work in a fast-paced, small team environment with plenty of potential for growth. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8-4:30pm). Hybrid-remote. Full benefits and compensation package.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in sales assistant/client service specialist functions.
  • Calendar management skills.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft and Adobe applications.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and good judgment.
  • Experience in administration of services including preparing reports, account documents and meeting preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex, multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills.
  • Concierge-level client etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a friendly personable manner.
  • Perform duties with high integrity and responsibility.
  • Ability to recognize and protect sensitive information.
  • Ability to complete tasks by given deadlines.

Applicants moving forward must meet the minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a sales assistant/client service associate. Registered sales assistant a plus.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Morningstar Office and Wealthbox a plus!
  • Experience in the finance industry required
  • Series 65 designation is a plus.
