Job description
This role will only considered Registered Nurses with a min of 3 years of RN nursing experience. As a Clinical Data Coordinator, you will maintain Excel spreadsheets and other databases. To help achieve our mission, you will provide high-quality data compilation, accurate data entry through adherence to definitions/clinical terminologies and ensure data integrity in accordance with compliance policies. Working collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, clinical care teams and administrative staff for all procedures to ensure data validity is required.
This is an RN clinical data role and Part time REMOTE role.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to enter data in Excel spread sheets after being trained.
- Performs occasional concurrent MR review for appropriate databases.
- Maintains Excel log of all E-CRFs, DCFs or others that may be required in the future.
- Accomplishes remote data entry and paper data submission per registry requirements.
- Demonstrates accurate data entry, data entry error correction and on-line querying to incomplete E-CRFS.
- Responds promptly to telephone and/or email registry inquiries.
- Submits all eligible DCFs by quarterly deadlines. Alerts manager to actual or potential delays/problems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of data locations in medical records, accurate lab interpretation per registry definition, ability to follow changing directions per registry communications and, as needed, demonstrates accurate EKG ST deviation interpretation per registry definition.
Requirements
Min of 3 years of nursing experience
Registered Nurse - licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Ability to learn Excel and database skills, knowledgeable in statistical software such as SPSS and SAS. Is able to apply clinical knowledge to data. Advanced skills in Microsoft office, EXCEL and PowerPoint (presentations). Skills and Knowledge related to the development of appropriate Clinical Databases/Questionnaires. Is able to generate and customize reports as well as interpret and analyze the data.
