Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Clinical Lead to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist and provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting. He/she communicates with providers/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate, about changes in patients clinical including results of diagnostic evaluation and changes in patient condition of symptomatology. Lead duties to include the outlined clinical job description, and will provide oversight of staff as well as the following additional listed duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must adhere to all duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Urology Associates of Idaho Falls clinical job description.
- Always leads by example.
- Orients, mentors, and assists with precepting duties to new staff members.
- Partners with the manager to create, update and maintain yearly competency training for all clinical staff.
- Complete monthly scheduling that is fair and balanced for all clinical MA’s, Nurses, and Providers on floor.
- Be active in process improvement projects as designed by the Department Manager.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas on the clinic process.
- Report concerns, conflicts within the department to the Department Manager.
- Act as a point of contact for providers concerning their area or responsibility.
- Assist with 90 day reviews for new clinical staff, coaching sessions, 1:1 sessions.
- Partner with manager on completing employee evaluations.
- Keep all clinical staff up to date on changes in procedures and policies to promote smooth operation of the Clinic.
- Attend assigned meetings as scheduled.
- Oversee and manage inventory and ordering of supplies and medications.
- Receive and manage “call outs” for clinic staff.
- Provide coverage in clinical areas during low staffing times to ensure continued patient care is not impacted or minimally impacted.
- Providing guidance to staff members including change in policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Certification: Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or LPN degree.
Experience: Two-three years clinic experience.
Equipment/Technology: Experience with computers and office equipment, required.
Language/Communication: The ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual is a plus. Must understand medical terminology.
Mathematical Skills: General Math skills.
Mental Capabilities: Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments. Must be organized, multi-tasker, and a critical thinker.
Interpersonal: Good communication skills, and ability to work well with others. Team player and flexible.
Performance: Can work well under pressure and meet multiple and competing deadlines. Good customer service skills. Can recognize and understand the complexity and reflex-testing of laboratory complexity.
