POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides a full range of counseling and clinical duties including assessment, treatment, planning, and education to clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorder.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
We offer TWO UNIQUE OPTIONS that lets you balance career goals and personal wellbeing -
Private practice model: Starting at $75,000 for 30 hours per week of billable service. You decide the hours and schedule! Includes full agency support and benefits.
Traditional model: Starting at $54,000 for 26 hours per week of billable services within 40 hour work week. Includes full benefits.
Additional $5,000 for bilingual candidates.
Eligible applicants will have opportunity to attend in-house EMDR training
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personalized, trauma informed therapeutic treatment.
  • Collaboratively develop treatment plans based upon assessment data, diagnosis, stage of change, and clinical presentation.
  • Engage diverse populations utilizing an approach that is person-centered and responsive to culture, gender, and trauma experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to defuse emergency situations.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and presentable documentation.
  • Participate in supervision and case conference as required by program.
  • Licensed staff may be asked to provide clinical signoff and/or supervision.
  • Individuals identified as a supervising clinician will be responsible for the provision of clinical supervision of interns and unlicensed clinicians as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in license eligible behavioral health field.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in related field
  • Associate license required (MLSW, PC-A, MFT-A) required. Professional clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC) preferred.
  • Minimum 1,500 hours working with children and adolescent populations (Student & Family Center only)
  • Working knowledge of psychotropic medications and side effects.
  • Ability to complete documentation in electronic health record system.
  • Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team.
