One of our clients in Springfield, VA USA needs a CMMS Senior Developerfor a contract position.
Position: CMMS Senior Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to develop, modify, maintain, and improve the application (utilizing IBM Maximo Mobile Anywhere or EZMaxMobile from Interpro - highly desirable but not required).
- Provide daily direction to the team/staff to develop, modify, maintain,and improve the application (currently IBM’s Maximo).
- Assist the government CMMS section Chief and support the day-to-day activities of contract development staff.
- Assist with application implementation.
- Assist in process definition and development; assist in upgrading functionality of the application through front-end changes.
- Assist in routine troubleshooting for system upgrades and functionality improvements.
- May have responsibility for the evaluation of new and existing software products.
- May assist other systems programmers to effectively utilize the system’s technical software.
- Maintain and enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, performance, stability, sustainability, and security of the Maximo application and its databases and tools.
- Support a global deployment of IBM's Enterprise Asset Management application Maximo 7.6.X and above.
- Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Implement best practices, create, and improve existing IBM Maximo workflows to manage work management, logistics, and property management processes.
- Perform tasks that encompass the complete lifecycle of activities required for application development and maintenance including but not limited to problem identification, tracking, analysis, and resolution to code generation, testing, deployment, training, and documentation.
- Oversee the validation and testing of deliverable products in accordance with approved SOPs, and released in accordance with approved change, configuration, and release management procedures.
- Provide all CMMS users with a stable platform in which to conduct around-the-world operations on a 24/7/365 basis. Stability is defined as access to the CMMS application, database, and reporting tool when response queries are initiated by CMMS users.
- Produce change request deployments to existing CMMS code that passcode review prior to production deployments.
- Provide technical and business-level assistance, incident resolution, and daily support to the CMMS user community.
- Identify, recommend, and implement agreed upon leading industry practices, process methodologies, new technologies, and streamlined approaches that afford the client the ability to improve system performance.
- Assist in CMMS implementation; assist in process definition and development; assist in upgrading functionality of CMMS package through front-end changes and assist in routine troubleshooting for system upgrades and functionality improvements.
- Support the activities of employees engaged in producing reports and deploying Mobile CMMS solutions and integrating multiple systems as well as in identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to remedy software and hardware problems.
- Execute Project Plan and communicate Project status.
- Provide installations, customizations and design changes for software and hardware products, which support Mobile CMMS deployments.
- Carry out instructions provided by the CMMS GTM for implementation of modifications to existing CMMS applications, including those, which support Mobile CMMS activities.
- Communicate project plans and business objectives to team, and present project status to the CMMS steering committee.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with IBM Maximo Mobile Anywhere development and EzMaxMobile from Interpro (highly desirable but not required).
- Experience with Maximo 7.6.X and higher.
- A degree in the field of computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
- IT certifications are a plus.
- Three years or more of directly related experience is preferred.
- IBM Maximo certifications are highly desirable.
- Security Clearance – Secret - Upgradeable to Top Secret.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.
Additional Qualifications but not required
- Additional knowledge of IBM Maximo Development, Integration and Archiving tools- such as workflows, Cron-asks, Application designer, Integration Framework, Optimum and the TRM’s Rules Manager software suite.
