The Oak Grove CNA Sponsorship Program in partnership will offer paid time to attend class and cover the cost of tuition!

Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village is looking for quality individuals to provide paid sponsored training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

We will cover all costs of the course, materials, and testing…AND pay you while you are taking the class!

Oak Grove provides a range of around the clock care services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy services. Our CNA’s provide exemplary nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of our licensed nurse supervisor.

Program Details:

• Selection process will include an assessment screening and interview with clinical educator, manager or Human Resources.
• Upon selection, the student will complete program contingency pieces (background checks, TB/Drug tests, physical, COVID requirements), sign the CNA Training Loan Agreement and enroll in the Certified Nursing Assistant course with In-Training.
• Student will complete CNA course (doing clinicals at Oak Grove) and meet state requirements to be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Student will be paid $12.30/hour while in training (not paid during clinicals per the State of Indiana) and $15.38 upon completion of the class/certification.
• Per the State of Indiana, you will be able to work as a CAN at Oak Grove for up to 120 days in between completion of the course and taking the State exam.

• CNA Training Loan Agreement states that sponsored students will work for Oak Grove for a minimum of 650 hrs. for 1 year of service upon the completion of obtaining certification. Forgiveness will begin upon regular employment and will be fully forgiven at the end of the first year of service.
