Qualifications:

• High school or GED equivalent
• Experience programming, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and product drawings.
• Experience with thread gauges, ring gauges, ID/OD micrometers, etc.

Description:

A client in the Kimball area is looking for a Machinist to join their team. This person will set up, program, and operate CNC and or various other types of machines, maintain quality and safety standards, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and supplies as needed. Additional responsibilities include:

• Read blueprints, engineering plans, machining parameters, interpreting GD&T
• Setup of mills and lathes and bar feeder systems.
• Maintain appropriate specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, thread chasing operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain appropriate operational documentation, including production and quality logs.
• Keep work area and department clean/organized and follow proper safety protocol.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour
