Compass Behavioral Health is looking for you: a part-time Horticulturist/Horticulture Therapist for our teen DBT residential treatment facility, The Farmhouse.

You are the hands and feet, heart, and soul of the program. You will be assisting in facilitating experiences that demonstrate the reciprocal nature of the natural environment as it pertains to whole body wellness:

• To assisting in establishing horticultural therapy goals
• To creating, maintaining, and overseeing the indoor and outdoor Farmhouse Residential Treatment program therapy garden spaces to ensure the environment is conducive to wellness and recovery
• To participating in student training and other professional educational endeavors
• To assisting individuals to learn emotion regulation skills and adjust dysregulated behaviors through reconnecting with the natural rhythms of the environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in horticulture; Preferred Bachelor’s in horticulture with specialized training in horticulture therapy
• Requirements to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry check, and drug test

Hourly

· $20-28 hrly, based on experience

· 12 hour shift/ 1 day a week Sundays
