Compliance Administrator


Ensures assigned security staff meet all regulatory and contractual compliance standards by implementing and maintaining a system of documentary evidence via an electronic document management system. Remotely monitors and coordinates the collection and renewal of compliance documents to ensure healthcare security personnel meet all specified contractual and regulatory requirements. Coordinates with clinical health screening and security training resources to create and maintain a compliance documentation cycle of renewal that maintains 100% compliance for all all assigned security personnel working healthcare space. Prepares and analyzes compliance status reports for local and regional leadership.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Oversees contractual and regulatory compliance standards and documentation for all security personnel in accordance with Federal, State, Local, and Accrediting / regulatory organizations.
  • Acts as a primary user for a web-based audit/compliance tracking tool through the gathering, uploading, and tracking of compliance-related materials.
  • Coordinate with Site and Regional leaders to ensure security compliance medical clearances, evaluations and training documentation is completed and uploaded into web-based audit/compliance tracking tool.
  • Researches and remains current in federal, regional, and state regulations impacting Healthcare Division first receiver operations, as well as the defusing aggressive behavior training guidelines.
  • Ensures security staff is appropriately trained to perform suicide prevention monitoring activities allowing facilities to ensure patients are kept safety while awaiting additional care.
  • Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual and company mandated training requirements; acts to ensure compliance with and documentation of the training requirements of the service contract.
  • Conducts routine needs analysis studies; identifies operational discrepancies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
  • Assists with analyzing and coordinating training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs and company services; coordinates training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules.
  • Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of compliance activities for local and regional leadership.
  • Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned Healthcare Division Area.
  • Communicates with team members, trainers, and management to ensure all needs are met, ranging from individual officers to the entire security enterprise.
  • Monitors compliance documentation programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and recommend updates as necessary.


Required Skills

Skill in the use of audio-visual equipment and personal computers, including presentation software; (Adobe, Zoom, Teams)

  • Oral and written communications skills; presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security services and operations
  • Planning, organizing, record maintenance, and project management skills
  • Skill in research and analysis
  • Familiarization with NSS Enterprise Security Risk Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various employee and customer levels from direct service personnel to executives, and across diverse cultures
  • Strong customer service and results orientation

Required Education

2 years of administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Have the ability to organize and implement administrative and operational programs and procedures.
  • Must be computer literate; Prefer intermediate operational knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work remotely with little to no direct supervision.
  • Prefer two (2) years' experience in position(s) requiring extensive remote communication and coordination of activities/projects.
  • Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
  • Must have valid Government issued Driver's License
