Dewberry’s Tulsa office is currently seeking a person with 10 or more years of related experience for a Construction Project Manager role to assist in construction administration for multiple public and private projects for our local office. This person will perform detailed construction administration tasks for moderate size to complex project types.

The projects will vary from additions and renovation to ground up construction. The task includes review of drawings, specifications, progress reports and initiates action to keep projects progressing and on schedule. You will work with the Architect, Contractor, and Owner to respond accurately and quickly to RFIs, change orders, and submittal reviews to assure conformance with overall project design intent and perform as a liaison between contractor, owner, and design team during construction.

The right candidate will work to rapidly provide solutions for issues that come up on in the field and is looking to join a professional family that is not only invested in our client’s work, but also our community. Last year our office achieved the most volunteer hours for an office our size within our entire company.

Our project types in Tulsa include K-12, Higher Education, Public Safety and Healthcare. Most notable of late include the Union HS Stadium and Band Hall as well as the soon to be built 144,000 SF Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center in downtown Tulsa.

Responsibilities:
Provide pre-construction and construction support:
    • Preconstruction activities such as reviewing estimates, scheduling, proposed product submittal review, and similar.
  • Attend Owner, Architect and Contractor (OAC) meetings
  • Assist in specifications for design
  • Regular on site construction observation
  • Keep logs and reports current reflecting project progress
  • Collaborate with other project team members as necessary, including project managers, field superintendents, construction coordinators, and others.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or can show a minimum of ten years of related equivalent experience.
  • Possess a wide degree of creativity and problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Procore is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
