Construction Project Superintendent
Job description
1. Assist project management team with all on-site project management tasks.
2. Author, and submit Requests for Information (RFI)
3. Manage, Project Submittals.
4. Manage day-to-day job site activities performed by approved subcontractors
5. Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors to help manage subcontractors involved in the project.
6. Attend project subcontractor meetings, safety meetings and Owner Progress Meetings and assist with generating meeting minutes.
7. Perform site safety inspections as well as Quality Control (QC), and Quality Improvement (QI)-evaluations.
8. Assist with supervising safety of construction workers, fill out safety inspections and issue safety violations as needed and as directed by PM.
9. Assist with documenting project progress with digital photography.
10. Maintain the Record Drawings by posting RFI’s, project changes and site as-built information on a continuous basis throughout the project.
11. Assist with all aspects of project closeout documentation as directed by Project Manager.
12. Assist with collection and review of change orders from subcontractors.
13. Assist with submission of change orders
14. Ensure project dailies are completed and on file
15. Warranty administration.
16. Close-out administration
17. Participate in MWBE networking events.
18. Assist with the preparation of the GMP process as directed by PM
19. Manage, author, and submit subcontractor bid packages and RFQs
20. Collate subcontract tenders
21. Development of Construction and CPMS Schedules in P-6 (as needed)
22. Manage Construction Documents in Construction Management Software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
