Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Contract Negotiation Manager to oversee and manage contract negotiations with our business partners and vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company's contract process is followed, contractual obligations are met, and that our business relationships are mutually beneficial. The Contract Negotiation Manager will work closely with our legal team and other departments to ensure that all contractual terms and conditions are clear, concise, and legally sound, as well as within budgetary constraints and aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the contract approval process, including reviewing, and negotiating contracts, amendments, and other legal documents.
  • Negotiate contracts to fall within desired parameters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful contract negotiation and execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on contractual matters, including interpreting and communicating contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to contract negotiations and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements, and develop strategies to minimize those risks.
  • Analyze contractual obligations and ensure that they align with company objectives and goals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to contract negotiation and execution, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual agreements, including amendments and renewals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to contract negotiation and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field required. Advanced degree in Business or Law preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation and management, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and business principles related to contract negotiation and execution.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to contract negotiation and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.

Working Conditions

This is an in office position. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc. This role is located at Crumbl Headquarters in Lindon, UT.
