The kitchen staff at Northwest Medical Center/Oro Valley Hospital is a diverse culinary team that works together to provide exceptional food and care for our patients, visitors and staff.
Summary:
The Cook prepares and serves high quality nutritious meals in a safe and sanitary manner. Cook duties includes all hot prep and cooking for department.
Food is prepared and both served through the Cafeteria to Staff, Physicians and Visitors in addition to meals being delivered to patients' rooms throughout the day.
Follows a menu to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods for service in an institutional setting.
