Job description
Responsible for: Cold Preparation/Room Service Entrees/Retail Entrée, Grill and Display Cooking. Quality inspection; preparation, storage/distribution of food in a safe and timely manner. Effective performance requires the ability to demonstrate human relations skills and deal with patient nutritional needs, under moderate supervision.
Preparation and production of quality food products for patient, café and catering.
Assist in the implementation of quality food service.
Serves, holds and stores food items according to set standards.
Demonstrates understanding of food and preparation methods.
Performs other duties as directed.
Education:
Required - Graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications: Preferred - ServeSafe Certification
Experience: Required - Three years (3) food service experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to adjust recipes by expanding or reducing.
Excellent customer service skills required.
