Position Overview:
Avantus is seeking a Corridor Specialist that is a execution-focused, client-facing position. A successful candidate will possess strong project management skills and will work closely with the larger PMO team, providing monitoring, execution oversight and analysis on the PMO’s maintenance, repair and sustainment projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Support all project requirements, which may include providing acquisition program management consulting and Analysis as required to facilitate the success of specific programs
  • Shall provide assistance in the development of a variety of acquisition-related program-supported business documents (such as SOW/SOO/PWS) in accordance with USACE, FAA, GSA, CBP, and FAR
  • Will assist the government in the preparation of Market Research, Determination of Findings, and analysis of Alternatives (AoA) documentation
  • Will assist in the preparation of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and life-cycle costs for acquisition and program support requirements
  • Manage, track, and report on the required funding and the budget for the initiative project, or task in its purview
  • Support the PMO with oversight of operations, maintenance, and repair contracts
  • Assist in the sustainment and support planning, conduct trending and analysis on historical data and upcoming requirements to support budget and execution planning, recommend budget, plans, and execution strategy to the Facility and BOMR Managers
  • Prepare monthly M&R coordination report(s), and maintain data and contract information to ensure standard and ad-hoc reporting requirements are able to be met
  • Track and prepare documentation for the execution of task orders conducted to support the client
  • Manage all data associated with the facility MRO program to include facility deficiencies, facility operational contracts, facility maintenance contracts, and building systems
  • Coordinate with the whole government team by managing the real property information in the real property system of record, TRIRIGA
  • Maintain all data held in CBP document repositories, assist in out-year budget planning and current year budget execution on maintenance, repair, and operational contract needs

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in facility management is required
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree is required
  • Possess a proven experience developing and maintaining working relationships with high level officials and technical experts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members
  • Ability to work autonomously at times and is a self-starter
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to review and assist with the development of project requirement documents (SOW, IGCE, etc.)
  • Expertise with Microsoft office suite of programs, especially MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience working in a fast-based, analytical environment
  • Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust
  • The status of applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements under Executive Order 14042 are subject to change depending on applicable court orders and the course of ongoing litigation. Candidates may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completed CBP Background Investigation clearance strongly preferred
  • Strong Project Management experience and skill set preferred
  • Engineering, construction or preventative maintenance background strongly preferred
  • DHS Experience is preferred
