Magpies Softserve Highland Park is a chef owned and operated soft serve ice cream shop. We make all of our softserve ice cream and toppings in-house, from scratch so you won't find any gummy bear or M&M topping here... We make every batch of ice cream with milk, cream or sugar. We also make vegan soft serve using either rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk. Our goal is to exceed in customers' expectations in quality and service. We believe that great product can only get us so far and must be met with excellent customer service from employees who CARE. We have built a great culture at Magpies, and we are excited to expand our hardworking team!

Pay: $16.04 hr + Tips (Average Wage + Tips: $25-29 hr)

Qualifications

*Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Able to multitask and stay organized *Able to taste dairy and non dairy products. (milk, oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk) *At least 4 days of open availability per week, including weekends (REQUIRED). Please do not apply if you cannot commit to weekends. *Must maintain a positive attitude in a high volume/customer facing position for 6-8 hours. *Must be punctual and have a sense of urgency

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.04 - $16.05/hour.

About MAGPIES SOFTSERVE: Magpies Softserve is a scratch recipe soft serve dessert shop. We make our soft serve mix and all toppings in house. We wanted to expand the flavors of typical soft serve ice cream from the traditional vanilla and chocolate by creating flavors of soft serve that bring us back to our childhood, flavors that inspired us to become chefs.
