Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Courier to join our team in Boerne, Texas. The Courier drives a light vehicle to deliver or pick up mail, merchandise or packages. An excellent benefit package is available to full-time staff. EOE

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vans, trucks or vehicles.
• Drive vehicles with carrying capacities under 3,600 pounds to transport deliveries to and from specified destinations.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, horns, lights, windshield wipers or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Prepare accident or incident reports.
• Turn in receipts (i.e. gasoline, purchases, credit cards) once a month, per company policy.
• Attend work in person regularly and as scheduled.

Requirements

• Formal or informal education or training that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• Three (3) years of driving experience.
• Valid Class “C” Texas Driver License.
• Capacity to take verbal or written directions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to perform all physical and mental requirements of the job; including lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 75 lbs. frequently and troubleshooting problems.
• Work Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm. Occasional work weekends and holidays, if necessary due to seasonal or staffing requirements.
