Excellent opportunity to work for a new service provider in Lycoming county. Center for Community Resources is a growing company and recently contracted to provide crisis intervention services in Lycoming county. Center for Community Resources Crisis Intervention Services is looking for compassionate mental health professionals to work in our Williamsport office. Crisis Intervention services include telephone, walk in and mobile assessment; counselors provide brief crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referrals to community resources and enact involuntary commitments. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services in Lycoming county.

There are openings for overnight. We offer an extra shift differential for the overnight shifts of $1.50. This can be working in the crisis office and/or being on call to respond to the community. This gives you an opportunity to pick a schedule that best suits your needs/lifestyle. This creates a great work-life balance. We offer (to start) 20 days of PTO a year!

The starting salary for this position is $18.00/hr. Crisis Counselors can work on call to respond to the community. The On-Call hourly rate is $23.00/hr and we pay a stipend of $300.00 per week when covering on call for one full week.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one year experience in mental health field required.
• Associates degree in psychology/sociology or related field plus 2 years direct mental health experience.

Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
