River Edge is currently looking for a Crisis Team Lead
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring, and discharge planning.
- Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.
- Provides supervision of crisis team workers.
- This position will be working out of the local medical hospital, primarily in the ER, completing crisis assessments on patients who present with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- It will be the responsibility of this staff person, working with the ER MD, to determine if the patient needs inpatient placement, to facilitate that placement, and complete the appropriate documentation.
- This position also requires excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.
Minimum Training & Experience:
- Master's degree from an accredited program and two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- COVID Vaccinated
- Supervisory experience needed.
- Experience in providing behavioral health services to adults.
- Prior experience leading community-based programming is a plus.
Additional Information: On-call duties required for weekends and holidays with staff rotation.
