• Assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of student events (ex. Medical Day, Union Day, Industry Day, Signing Day, etc.)
• Assist with field trips, student competitions, in-shop projects, etc. as needed
• Coordinate guest speakers
• Collect and submit CTE Points of Pride information monthly
• Attend regularly scheduled MTSS team meetings and support student program engagement by assisting with attendance calls, intervention meetings, etc.
• Coordinate year 1 and year 2 student Exit Plans with appropriate CTE team members
• Acts as CTE-PR liaison to promote student opportunities, achievements, and acknowledgements
• Coordinates on-boarding of new CTE staff with emphasis on areas that focus on building community and relationships
• Oversee development, advertising, and awarding of scholarships
• Participate on committees as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• NYS certified teacher (CTE and/or WBL certification preferred, but not required)
• Knowledge of high school graduation pathways, post-secondary learning, and employment opportunities
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members

The Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) in New York State was established in 1948 to provide cost-effective shared educational programs and services to school districts. We also strive to enhance the lives of our residents by providing adult education offerings such as High School Equivalency (formerly GED), continuing education and enrichment classes and adult literacy lessons through our partnership with Cayuga Community College.
