Job Description


The ideal candidate for a Corporate ChefCulinary Resource Manager/ Corporate Executive Chef would be able to do the following:

1) Execute at a high level of performance all aspects of the Corporate Executive Chef position description.

2) Effectively manage and utilize culinary team resources through established standards and best practices to support global sales growth objectives;

  • Scheduling, management and execution of culinary demonstrations/seminars both in Alto-Shaam Culinary Institute Facility as well as field test and demonstration kitchens.
  • Ongoing training, support and development of global field culinary support resources
  • Support factory and in-field sales efforts through scheduled collaborative field engagement

3) Management and departmental task assignment to support collaborative and cross functional engagement and support of engineering function to establish product/equipment testing criterion and applications performance objectives while meeting required project deadlines.

  • Effective management of designated personnel resources with effective follow up and appropriate communication/reporting

4) Jointly manage and effectively execute a successful trade show strategy

  • Pre-show planning and booth design/layout with equipment selection and placement
  • Delegation and management of related resources to at a high level execute all aspects of pre-show, show and post show performance
  • Collaborative branding/messaging with marketing function

5) Manage and execute at a high level functional support of ongoing marketing development

  • Training and support materials development
  • Social media and digital content development at a high level

Qualifications


For a candidate to be successful as a Culinary Resource Manager/ Corporate Executive Chef, they must have:

¨ Culinary degree and a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a variety of kitchens including executive chef position and management experience.

¨ Knowledge of cooking technology and advanced applications

¨ Leadership, strategic creative thinking, problem-solving, and advanced communication and presentation skills.

¨ Project management and process development

¨ Knowledge and understanding of the sales process

¨ Must have an established industry presence and industry contacts.

  • Has experience with training customers, dealers, reps on how to use foodservice equipment
