Leggett & Platt is seeking a Customer Service Associate for our City of Industry, California location.

What you’ll do:

• Act as primary customer contact providing timely responses and excellent customer service
• Assist customers with requests to place orders, expedite orders, stock checks/lead times, requests for product information and other general inquiries
• Work closely with outside sales team and promptly communicate customer issues & opportunities to ensure L&P provides an exceptional customer experience
• Work closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing and Shipping to ensure orders are filled in an accurate and timely manner, achieving complete customer satisfaction
• Respond to customer (internal & external) inquiries in a timely manner
• Accurately process customer orders
• Other duties as assign by supervisor

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 years customer service and/or sales support experience
• Minimum 1year order entry experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook
• Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to type 35 WPM minimum

• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must be well organized and detail oriented
• Must have good follow-up skills
• Must be adept at multi-tasking
• Must have the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment
• Must be a team player, willing to help others as needed
