Job description

We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to type information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate is not simply looking to transcribe & must have both a keen eye for detail & the ability to see the whole picture. Our data entry team is our quality check team! Flexible work schedule for the detail oriented employee - just get the job done and work on your own time! Perfect for people who need to divide up the day when there are other commitments. (15 hours a week minimum, 25 hours a week maximum.)

Responsibilities

• Type handwritten data provided by our research team into our proprietary database
• Check source documents & completed work for accuracy
• Review data for deficiencies or errors
• Verify & correct data when necessary
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

Skills

• Articulate, with good grammar and spelling skills

• Working knowledge of both MS Office Word & Google Sheets

• Excellent objective judgement & attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while still being part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
• High school degree or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
