Job description
The Database Systems Administrator is responsible for the integrity and usage of our Database Systems and related Martech software. They are involved with supporting enhancements that drive productivity, ensuring a clean database, and promoting best practices. Database Systems Administrator has strong problem solving skills and experience in Salesforce configuration in a for-profit Salesforce org with extensive customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. In addition, they possess strong communication skills and a desire to learn. This position is a FULL TIME HYBRID position based out of the Charleston office. It supports both Kiawah Partners and South Street Partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Support users including log-in, technical issues, enhanced functionality requests, and provisioning of new users with effective management of object and record level access.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for users of database systems. Understand the responsibilities and processes for internal stakeholders to support UX improvements and training needs.
Assist in training of new user onboarding and rollouts of new or updated features and tools.
Assist with auditing and executing security and data integrity projects.
Prepare and perform data uploads/exports.
Support and train Delegated Admins in their role.
Develop declarative components in Salesforce to meet specified requirements.
Develop and update content access to improve user experience meet process needs on page layouts and Lightning Pages for Desktop and Mobile.
Coordinate timelines and requirements with Developers and Outside Consultants on projects.
Support the migration of legacy automation logic to a new unified automation tool, currently Flow following best practices.
Develop and maintain new automation logic following best practices.
Create Screen Flows that align with business processes to improve data integrity and user experiences
Create and maintain user-oriented training materials for Sales & Marketing database systems
Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems to document change management within database systems
Perform testing and manage UAT testing for new and existing development projects
Maintain, design, and audit reports/dashboards in Salesforce and DOMO
Prepare and perform data uploads/exports
Support Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems with projects as needed
Travel as needed to support SSP business units.
Maintain confidentiality of all records across databases
Other duties related to Sales & Marketing Database Systems
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree in sales, marketing, business systems or equivalent work experience
Salesforce Admin Certification 201 required
Two to three years of experience working in a similar position
Proficiency in administration of core Salesforce functions and Lightning UI, e.g. user management, roles and permissions, custom objects and fields, page layouts, custom fields, approval processes, Flow, etc.
Experience with Force.com and Custom Object Architecture perferrable
Proficient in MS Office products to include Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
Experience with Hubspot and Propertybase preferable
Experience with Google Workspace preferable
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong technical skills and mindset to leverage database and workflow-oriented software
