Helm is a fast-growing company that is seeking two (2) expert level Dealership Reinsurance Consultants to join our team! As a Dealership Reinsurance Consultant, you will leverage your automotive F&I and service contract knowledge, analytical ability and creativity to oversee all aspects of dealership reinsurance programs. You will serve as the main point of contact for all current and prospective dealership reinsurers, as well as be the product owner for the dealership reinsurance program, the business relationship and driving program changes.

As stated above, we are looking for two (2) consultants; one to be in the west region and the other in the east region of the United States.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Dealership Reinsurance Consultant:

• Analyze existing dealership network F&I and Service Contract performance and loyalty to target potential conquest opportunities through reinsurance.
• Partner with client, field team and other organizations supporting reinsurance to develop a robust conquest strategy.
• Analyze dealership financials and session statement data to develop and present presentations and pro-forma to highlight opportunities to increase profitability through reinsurance.
• Manage relationships with key direct reinsurance markets and intermediaries.
• Responsible for all reinsurance reporting, responds to and fulfills ad-hoc data requests.
• Acts as a subject matter expert resource and regularly identify opportunities to leverage new IT solutions in support of process improvements and reporting objectives.
• Point-person for all reinsurance related questions from field team. Dedicated liaison for all external and internal inquiries regarding reinsurance.
• Facilitate field training sessions regularly to provide continuous reinsurance education and awareness.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant reinsurance policies.
• Provides business insights and recommendations to support business improvements.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience by providing instruction, guidance, and advice.
• May partner with other analytical teams across the organization and/or participate in special project

Education and experience of the Dealership Reinsurance Consultant:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent with preferred Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related discipline
• Minimum of ten years of related work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of major reinsurance providers, competitive offerings and dealership operations
• Business and technical acumen with financial, economic and statistical practices, procedures and principles
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and presentation skills with all levels of leadership and internal/external business partners
• Analytical ability, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Solid project management, organization and planning skills
