Purpose of the Position:

Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering food orders to guests in a designated delivery area. Drivers check all delivery orders to ensure accuracy and quality, then deliver products to guests in a safe and courteous manner. When not out on a delivery, drivers will work as in-taqueria employees, helping to serve guests and keep the restaurant clean.

Drivers must have valid registration, license, and insurance and a decent driving record.

Additional Responsibilities include:

• 
  Greets all guests
• Accurate cash handling and credit card procedures
• Accurate order taking, includes repeating order to customer at time of order and delivery of food
• Setting up or closing down the dining room, restrooms, and patios
• Answering the phones using all aspects of the Taco Bambas script requirements and taking call in orders
• Directing customers inside the restaurant
• Helping pre-bus and cleaning the dining room during service while not on the register
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area as outlined by Fairfax Co health codes
• Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties and re-stocking.
• Smile, be friendly, and polite
• Assist expo whenever possible
• Be able to explain the menu and suggestively sell to all guests
• Double checks to go orders
• Gets a manager involved when there is an allergy or complicated ticket
• Properly breaks down station and cleans for the next shift, restocks if necessary
• Records and communicates ticket times
• Keep station clean while working, line sweeps,
• Portion salsas as listed on the prep sheet.
• Properly labels, dates, and fills pans correctly for all produced food items
• Practices proper food safety and HACCP techniques, FIFO
• Keeps drink station stocked and clean
• May be asked to assist with other duties outside of this job description
• Perform cleaning duties per lists or as assigned by manager
