The position will work as the global team lead of the Application Packaging and Deployment Services team. The position will function as a business liaison to understand application repackaging and deployment needs throughout the regions, divisions and down to country / sites. The person would be responsible for working with relevant stakeholders serving as the central point of contact throughout the application lifecycle from repackaging requests to deployment. The position will collaborate with the managed services and other outsourced packaging teams to repackage application source ensuring that established best practices are employed. The resource will coordinate quality checks, user acceptance testing and be responsible for scheduling/monitoring/troubleshooting the deployment of repackaged applications through System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This position also requires strategy and direction for future of repackaging efforts based on ITIL and vendor best practices. The position will also manage the tools and processes for the repackaging effort as well as ensure ITIL processes are followed. The candidate will drive automation and efficiencies among the packaging and deployment services teams to streamline processes, reduce manual efforts and drive down operating costs. Timely, effective communication with stakeholders will be required throughout this process to ensure updates on deployment progress. The role requires a technically strong person who is resourceful, has a strong presence globally, regionally, and divisionally, is highly self-motivated, attentive to detail and able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT preferred however relevant experience with no degree will be considered.

Required Skills:
2-4 years of experience with application deployment using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.

Ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional customer service orientation.

Preferred Skills:
3-5 years of experience with application packaging experience in Flexera Admin Studio / Scripting

Practical experience with our Company's standard desktop environment and business applications

Good working knowledge of ITIL framework

Good working knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow for Change, Incident Management (support and fix issues) and Knowledge Management for any documentation
