Industry leading boat trailer manufacturer is looking for someone to control the flow of information between each department and sometimes customers. To maintain bills of material (B/O/M), part drawings, specialized work orders. Create and maintain control documents and check for accuracy. The candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. The Document Specialist should also be comfortable working with a variety of software programs and have the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cross platform data entry and verification.
• Support MRP Data entry and BOM creations.
• Maintain data through paper files, electronic files, databases, and control drawings.
• Organize data to display or present to department heads or clients.
• Review documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with project execution by providing documents to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Owner of Engineering Change Controls (ECR, ECO, ECN)

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience with CAD platforms, SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred.
• Documentation experience or training.
• Experience in ERP/MRP software.
• Configuration management experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites – Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Enthusiastic and has a desire to learn and grow.
• Must possess a sense of urgency and discipline to deliver assigned work on time.
• Must be willing to go above and beyond to help the team succeed.
