Position Title: DevOps Architecture/Engineer to support ICAM/ZTA in a lab environment
We are seeking a DevSecOPs professional to support a federal government/corporate client design and implementation of an ICAM/ZTA framework in a lab environment. Testing of vendor functionality between applications and vendor partners. Work with partners to understand use cases, priorities, and requirements. Manage projects from beginning to end.
Qualified candidates should have experience:
- Coordinating with technical and functional stakeholders
- Understanding of the AGILE methodology
- CI/CD pipelines
- Managing software delivery life cycles (SDLC)
- Designing security solutions that leverage trusted application, infrastructure, and proper implementation of best practices for continuous security monitoring
- Configuring and deploying a range of security tools
- Protecting both on-premises and cloud-based systems
- Security Tools & Solutions
- Zero Trust
- Identity Credential Access Management
- Enterprise-grade network security
- Cloud Expertise (Azure and AWS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following vendors: SailPoint, - Radiant, Thycotic, Ping, ABAC, SQL, Microsoft, Red hat, GitLab, Kubernetes/Dockers, Azure, and JIRA.
- Cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, ISSMP)
Requirements:
- 3 years of programming experience with high-level languages (Python, Ruby, Java, Rust, Javacript, and Powershell)
- VMware
- Experience with LDAP directory services (Active Directory, OpenLDAP)
- Experience working in an Agile environment and awareness of both Scrum and Kanban principles
- Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, languages such as JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java
- Up to date on the latest industry trends; Able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
- Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
- Understanding Linux system administration background
- Experience working in an Agile environment and awareness of both Scrum and Kanban principles
- Experience working in JIRA
- Experience logically comprehending technical and/or functional manuals and instructions
- Troubleshooting issue resolution experience
