JOB SUMMARY:
Bethany at Silver Lake is hiring a Dietary Aide. Sunday, and Monday 6:30AM-2:30PM washing dishes. Tuesday, and Wednesdays off. Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays 3:00PM-8:00PM.On the evening position you will start your day with finishing the days dishes for about 30-40 minutes, then get the trays ready for residents dinner, serve on dinner tray line, clean up, wash/pull dishes, put away stock if needed, clean the dish pit, make sure kitchen is clean and sanitized for the following day, and other duties as assigned. You have a daily cleaning schedule too.
Sundays and Mondays you will be washing breakfast and lunch dishes, preparing juice carts, passing carts, other duties as assigned for breakfast and lunch.
I know that working in long term care may sound scary during these times, let me assure you our facility is clean, we take great steps to keep it this way. We follow all the federal and state guidelines to maintain the health and safety of everyone involved.

This position is Full Time at 30 hours per week. Benefits are offered, medical, dental, vacation days.
The days and times are:

• Sunday 6:30AM-2:30PM
• Monday 6:30AM-2:30PM
• Tuesday Off
• Wednesday Off
• Thursday 3:00PM-8:00PM
• Friday 3:00PM-8:00PM
• Saturday 3:00PM-8:00PM

**Pay is $17.00-$20.00 an hour DOE.
You need to be friendly and a team player. This kitchen helps each other and cares for one another. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 30+ pounds, work in a hot environment, be OK with interruptions, and love working with the elderly.

Qualifications*

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and understand measurements and conversions

• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred, but not required

• Ability to plan, organize and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards

• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the eldery.

• MUST be fully vaccinated (2doses) by state law.

• Masks are required at all times while working.

• Weekly mandatory covid testing.
