Job description

Employees will perform Commercial and Industrial Electrical Wiring installations as well as Directional Drilling.Employees will use a variety of hand and power tools. On the job training is provided regarding safety, construction methods, how to operate tools and construction equipment. Qualified employees will be trained to operate equipment and have opportunities for advancement

Current equipment used: Vermeer Series II and III drills, Digitrak Falcon F5 locators, Bobcat loaders and mini-excavators.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learn and operate Directional boring machines
  • Learn and operate Directional boring locating equipment.
  • Set up, operate, and perform daily maintenance on directional bore machine
  • Be prepared with materials, equipment, and water daily
  • Learn how to use electrical tools and power tools.
  • Learn electrical codes.
  • Learn how to bend conduit.
  • Learn how to read electrical drawings.
  • Learn how to install electrical conduit, wire, and equipment.
  • Install electrical devices and light fixtures.
  • Other duties may include but not limited to: operate equipment, trenching, plowing, power or hand excavation, road cuts, set vaults and cables, cleanup and restoration, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
