About the Role
The Diversity & Inclusion Director will drive implementation of initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
Responsibilities
Instrumental member of the Office of DE&I in helping develop and advance D&I priorities and initiatives- Partnering closely with Human Resources to ensure hiring and employee-related policies are fair, inclusive, and promote diversity
- Understanding diversity analytics and drawing insights to develop action-oriented strategies to move the needle.
- Strengthening inclusive culture through inclusive practices, including end-to-end program management of Employee Impact Groups (EIGs), including acting as key liaison to EIG leads across the enterprise, ensuring governance, collaboration, and communication
- Coordinating annual completion of diversity recognition surveys, DEI corporate social responsibility submission and other DEI-related ESG submissions
- Coordinating DEI-related responses to business proposal requests
- Working cross-functionally and establish productive partnerships with key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive Conduent's diversity, equity & inclusion, and business objectives (e.g., partners and stakeholders include Business leaders, Communications, HR, Supplier Diversity, etc)
- Fostering best practice sharing and employee engagement collaboration across the business, DEI Committees, and other partners.
- Conducting ongoing research and stay current on diversity, equity & inclusion, and ERG best practices.
- Assisting with planning and logistics execution of special projects and other key DEI events and conferences.
Requirements
Have a Bachelor's Degree- Have a background, subject matter expertise and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in a corporate environment.
- Have 5-7 years experience in diversity, equity & inclusion at a global organization 10+ years of work experience in HR (or related field)
- Have experience working with HR Partners/Diversity stakeholders
- Possess public speaking experience in small and large group forums, and excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Have a natural ability to engage and work with HR Partners and diverse groups and stakeholders across the organization and at all levels.
- Need excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a solid work ethic
- Must be able to manage multiply projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment and function well under pressure
- Demonstrate success in tactical implementation, project management and operational excellence.
- Maintain consistent exercise of unbiased judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
