Job description
Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Director of Annual Giving. The Director is responsible for leading and growing Poly Prep’s Annual Giving program to achieve specific fundraising and engagement goals in parent, alumni, faculty and staff, and all donor constituencies. The Director is responsible for raising unrestricted dollars to meet the budgetary needs of the school.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work with the Chief Advancement Officer, Director of Advancement and Head of School to determine Annual Giving goals-
Build strategic plans for achieving these goals.

Orchestrate comprehensive research and analysis with Advancement Services to set goals of annual giving levels and to identify major donor prospects.

Develop a calendar of communications and segmented solicitations strategies involving email, mail, phone contact, personal visits to sustain and build annual support.

Oversee reunion-based fundraising program in close collaboration with the Director of Alumni Relations. Determine strategy, recruit and train volunteers and monitor class progress.

Plan cultivation and stewardship events for new families, returning families, and volunteers

In partnership with the Director of Advancement Services, report ongoing annual giving progress and analysis to the Board of Trustees and community.

In partnership with the Director of Advancement Services, foster the process of gift acknowledgement acknowledging the donors quickly and effectively with gift receipts, phone contact and personal notes.

Liaise with communications consultancy to plan, design, and implement Annual Giving solicitations, including digital marketing (email, website, social media)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 5+ years of fundraising experience, preferably in a school setting
Specific Skills: Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft and Google suites.
Certifications: N/A
Special Requirements: Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required for School and Advancement events.
Requirement: All employees must be fully vaccinated and show proof of their full COVID 19 vaccination and booster.
Annual Salary range: 90K to 110K
