Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for a decisive leader who is passionate about quality care and excellent service to join us as Director of Clinical Services working throughout greater Independence, MO.

The Director of Clinical Services oversees coordination of hospice patient care, facilitates team conferences, orients new clinical staff, supervises the interdisciplinary team members, reviews new referrals, assists with staff assignments and participates in quality improvement activities.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and the desire to support and mentor our hospice team.

• 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

• Overall Patient Care Operations
• Responsibilities include managing all patient care expenditures and assuring both regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise*

• RN License
• At least 2 year of clinical management experience
• At least 2 years of hospice or related healthcare experience
• A good understanding of hospice regulations and quality standards of care
• Will complete Administrator training required by DADS
• Must be of high integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient records
• Works as a team player, following directions and adhering to defined care plans
• Demonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of care
• Can successfully pass background checks
