Job Responsibilities:

As Director, your responsibilities will include planning and monitoring projects to ensure customers’ expectations are met. This position will serve as a liaison between our millwork shop, the general contractor, designers and the end user to ensure successful projects. We are looking for someone that embraces ownership and accountability and is driven to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Build out metrics and design collaborative workflows or tools to improve efficiency.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all teams are aligned toward a common operating goal.
• Tracks and manages P&L and provides reports with financial responsibility of the project.
• Serves as a department leader with training, developing and mentoring team members.
• Communicates regularly with customers, contractors, and the team regarding project schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Experience planning and monitoring project progress from start to finish.
• Previous experience managing or leading a team of project managers preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple millwork projects effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications including Excel, Word and Bluebeam.
• Experience with AutoCAD is desirable.
• Experience influencing change and execution proactively.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Architectural Millwork and Project Management in the commercial construction industry.
• Bachelor's Degree, in construction management or architecture/ Or 5 years of experience managing a project management team.
• Reliably commute to our River Falls, WI office. Position will be located onsite in River Falls a short commute from Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area.
