Under limited supervision, the Director of Senior Living Services ensures the highest degree of services are delivered to residents within residential living, assisted living, and memory support of HumanGood Life Plan Communities. The Director of Senior Living Services provides clinical oversight, regulatory support, strategic leadership, and ability to apply appropriate resources to the development, prioritization, implementation, and administration of healthcare services through direct communication with the Corporate Support center (CSC) Healthcare Quality team and OPS.** $115K-$130K Annual Base Salary (DOE) ** 20% Performance-based Incentive Eligibility

Additional key duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Collaborating with Executive Directors/Health Services Administrators, community wellness directors, assisted living directors, and memory care support directors to identify healthcare issues, implement effective corrective action plans and monitor compliance to promote adherence to quality and ethical standards of care, to the greatest extend possible.
Mentoring and assisting with onboarding of new clinical directors (Director of Wellness, Director of Assisted Living, Director of Residential Living, etc.)
Overseeing and approving the development, implementation, and revision of residential, wellness, assisted living and memory support clinical services policies, procedures and guidelines as set forth by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Analyzing and validating key community-specific healthcare services team member competencies.
Making recommendations regarding the creation, development, and implementation of an integrated electronic health record system applicable to all levels of care and healthcare services lines.
Conducting onsite reviews of healthcare services operations, clinical records consultant reports, and team member performance.
Monitoring and analyzing internal quality measures, clinical outcome data and trends, and identifying high-risk problem areas (for example: hospice, care, palliative care, skin and wound management, pain management, psychotropic medication usage, behavior monitoring, high risk falls, and significant changes in conditions).
Developing, implementing, and monitoring healthcare service quality improvement to ensure care innovation and continuous quality improvement.
Monitoring infection control practices, resident assessment/appraisal accuracy, service plan development and implementation.
Supporting communities in preparation for all licensure and survey activities.
Collaborating with the community interdisciplinary care team transition decision process to ensure appropriate and consistent level of care placement.
Providing team member clinical training and education as appropriate.
Conducting E.H.R. audits (e.g., orders, assessments, service plans/care plans, etc.) and providing action plans including training needs.
Monitoring and supporting consistent utilization and compliance of the clinical programs of the E.H.R. systems.
To be successful in tis role you would have:
BA/BS degree in nursing or in equivalent education, and healthcare administration.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing or senior living/assisted living experience.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience of long term care EHR - PCC, Matrix Care, or Netsmart myUnity.
Current California Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse required.
Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE) Administrator certification in California required.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license in other states preferred.
