Job Description:
Assist in all aspects of contracts and administration for the division. Support Corporate Leadership in aspects of Risk Management, Bonding and Accounting. Take action as needed to ensure project goals, objectives and initiatives are met in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Barnhill Contracting Company
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up all work orders and jobs in Enterprise Resource System (ERP) software
- Correspond with various vendors, customers and subcontractors as needed. Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure
- Maintain current permits and insurance certifications as needed and obtain insurance for Barnhill Contracting Company contracts
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems ensuring information is well organized and easily accessible
- Perform administrative tasks such as mailing, scanning/copying, etc.
- Maintain documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Check for accuracy in payroll, billing, and equipment reports
Minimum Qualifications & Training:
- High school degree required. Associate s or Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of work and experience preferred.
- 2 years administrative assistance preferred
- NC Driver License
