We are a professional and well-established pet care company looking for a full-time team member to fill a dog walker position for the Madison/Clinton area. We provide on-the-job training and continued support and mentorship. *MUST BE EXPERIENCED AND COMFORTABLE WITH LARGE-BREED DOGS.

Requirements:

• LOVE both dogs and cats
• Have experience with dogs and their behavior (your own pets count!)
• Be professional, neat and tidy in clients' homes
• Be able to work independently and take initiative
• Have a smartphone and be tech-savvy
• Have excellent communication skills & grammar
• Own a reliable vehicle with valid license, registration & insurance; have a willingness to transport dogs in said vehicle;
• Be local to the community. You must live in Madison or Clinton or a neighboring town.
• Be Pet CPR/First-Aid certified or willing to take a class
• Be able and willing to work with us for at least a year. The pets & clients will want to develop a long-term relationship with you.
• Be available to dog walk on weekday holidays, as needed (some of our clients take those days off, but not all!)
• Pass a criminal / background check

YOU MUST LIVE LOCAL TO THE TOWN(S) WHERE JOB IS LOCATED as it requires travel between visits. Candidates must be willing and able to drive and work in all types of weather. Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work year-round. Must be comfortable interacting with customers, entering customers' homes and handling alarm systems.

Pay: $500.00 - $700.00 per week
