Scheduling and safe transportation of residents to shopping trips.
Responsibilities
This is a part-time position driving two days a week; Wednesdays and Thursdays. Taking our residents to their shopping destinations within the Santa Rosa area.
Transportation is provided in our company transit van and sedan. Knowledge of the Santa Rosa area is very helpful and a clean driving record is required. Some lifting and unloading of packages is involved. We are seeking a friendly person with good customer service that is a safe and courteous driver!
- The Driver I maintains a daily Vehicle Inspection List and returns to the Director of Safety and Transportation.
- Maintains all fluid levels in vehicles and communicates any mechanical problems to the Director of Safety and Transportation immediately
- Answers cell phone calls from residents for pick up while out on runs and schedules pick up as required
- The Driver I operates vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Education and Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college or related life experience
