Position Overview:
We have an immediate opening for a Driver Recruiter candidate who is an organized and positive team player who has excellent communication skills to work in a small office that is dealing with the normal day to day stress of the transportation industry.
The Driver Recruiter must be able to work without supervision, be accurate and thorough, and complete time sensitive work in a fast-paced environment.
How you will impact Ozark Logisitics:
  • Responsible for complete recruiting process
    • Receive and contact driver leads using applicant tracking software
    • Determine if leads are qualified candidates
    • Convert candidates into job offers and successful hires by selling benefits of employment with Ozark Logistics
    • Process driver applications, run MVR, PSP, and background checks, extend employment offers, and complete pre-employment process
    • Coordinate orientation between qualified drivers and Fleet Manager
    • Maintain relationship with qualified candidates that do not result in immediate employment
    • Maintain confidentiality of all drivers’ personal information at all times
  • Maintain driver files
  • Organize and run annual MVRs and ensure all existing drivers have current CDL and medical cards
  • Process driver payroll for existing drivers, weekly
  • Help with projects as needed
  • Use trucking software
What you need to succeed:
  • Experience (Required)
    • Transportation – 1 year
  • Experience (Preferred)
    • Recruiting – 1 year
    • Sales – 1 year
  • High school diploma/GED, degree preferred
  • General knowledge of DOT requirements, employment laws and recruiting practices
  • Ability to read MVR and PSP reports to ensure driver employment requirements are met
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
