The Drop & Count Member safeguards the assets of the Casino by removing, exchanging, collecting, transferring and accurately counting cash boxes from gaming machines, table games and ticket redemption kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations.

Benefits began on the 1st day of the month following your hire date even if you start on the 31st of the month

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Remove, exchange and collect all gaming machine and table games drop boxes and transport boxes to the count room
  • Count and record currency, coin and tickets (clipping, strapping, bundling and bagging as appropriate) from gaming machines, table games and ticket redemption kiosks
  • Record mutilated and counterfeit currency and coins to report to TGA, Cage and Finance
  • Perform verification, reconciliation and balancing functions including drafting or otherwise preparing any necessary documentation

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Previous cash handling, cage or count experience preferred but not required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
