Position: DTRA SI Web Graphics Designer - Mid #1911

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Clearance: TS/SCI

General Description:
The Web Graphics Designer performs duties under general supervision to design layouts and art based on customer specifications.

Example Tasks:
•
Determines the fonts, layout, medium, and other design decisions as needed.

•
Coordinates accurate reprinting.

•
Designs layouts for print and for online consumption.

•
Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.

•
Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings.

•
Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.

•
Develops applications based on current, new, and future net-based applications.

•
Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based application systems, such as user interface, or site animation.

•
Troubleshoots and solves software issues.

•
Researches technical problems and suggests improvements for web applications.

Requirements:
•
Clearance - TS/SCI

•
BA/BS 6+ years of related experience or HS 14+ years of related experience

•
Graphics and design experience as well as HTML knowledge

•
Knowledge of commonly used web developing language (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.Net, Python, and AJAX)
