Job Description:
EE with 2+ years of test experience and managerial experience. Work across disciplines during integration and test activities is required. Flexibility to support scheduled and unscheduled weekend and off-shift hour as well as travel for field support as needed. Possibility of 2 trips in 6 months. All work to be done onsite.
The position requires
1. Coordinate with the Program Technical Leader
a. Drive a team to meet schedule
b. Maintenance plan
c. Component additions or removals
d. Maintaining program costs
2. Coordinate with the Program Test Leaders
a. Support the vehicle in-water test schedule
b. Prepare the vehicle for in-water testing
3. Coordinate support with our Operations Department (they provide technicians)
a. Scheduling when Technicians (mechanical techs, and electrical techs) are required
4. Coordinate support with Engineering
a. When additional support is required
b. What type of Engineering is required - ME, EE, SW, Integration & Test
5. Coordinate with the Program Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM)
a. Generator Fuel
b. Procurement items
c. Sunbelt rentals
6. Operate the Vehicle
a. On land
b. During offshore testing
7. Maintain the Vehicle
a. Charge Batteries
b. Coordinate battery maintenance
c. Charge air banks
d. Coordinate rental equipment (Sunbelt)
i. When and duration
ii. What type (Gen, A/C, welders, etc.)
8. Maintain logs (Paper and electronic forms)
a. General Maintenance
b. Battery Charging
c. Battery maintenance
d. Confined space
e. Track issues
Required skills:
- EE with 4+ years of test experience and managerial experience.
- Skilled with electrical troubleshooting and debugging on equipment from power systems to integrated circuits.
- Ability to be a team lead and perform cost account management duties
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
