While reporting to the HR Services Lead, you will be responsible for providing day to day support to Sonoco employees world-wide, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and serving as the primary contact for employee life cycle data entry and maintenance.

  • You will provide front line customer service to employees to assist with all HR questions via e-mail, phone and on-site visitations.
  • Responsible for maintaining employee records and accurate employee data management.
  • Ensures seamless transition of employee data from systems to files for employee onboarding process.
  • Updates, maintains and manages employee data in Workday (HRIS), audits data and ensures accuracy.
  • Ensures 100% data compliance for internal and external audits; provides data as needed for audit requests.
  • Monitors employee portal mailboxes, troubleshoots and responds to inquiries, escalating things as needed to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Runs routine reports and delivers them to the appropriate business team member.
  • Provides support for HR Shared Services, including taking ownership of small project components.
  • Assists the HR Shared Services leadership team with other duties as assigned.

This position is located in beautiful Hartsville, SC at our Global Headquarters.

  • Interest in career in Human Resources; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to travel periodically .

This is a progression position and could be a level I, II or III. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $45,975.00 to $55,170.00

An annual bonus is awarded to eligible employees upon attaining various business and individual goals as defined by the Company and the department leader. This annual bonus is discretionary, and the Company has sole discretion to determine the amount of the award.
