Learning Opportunities/Quality Works, Inc. Positions are available now for a full time Employment Consultant. The Employment Consultant is charged with accurately evaluating skills, interests, and abilities of job seekers and creating a successful job match by utilizing personal networks and employer development. Successful job matches will be made based on the conditions, preferences, and contributions of our customers. Employment Consultants develop relationships with stakeholders and act as a mediator as needed between the employer and the employee. A significant part of this position will be providing on the job supports to employees with disabilities. This person will also be communicating with employers to find potential candidates to meet future employment needs. Typical tasks would include supporting someone’s career planning and discovery or meeting with an employer to profile a position. Strong documentation skills and a connection to the community are a must! Employer prefers, but does not require, that applicants complete Talify assessment located on their Jobs.MO.gov registration.

The person we are looking for must be professional and have a high regard for customer service and satisfaction, a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, problem solving skills. Successful employees in this position are creative, energetic, friendly, and community minded. They must also take an active interest in people with disabilities and must be able to work independently and communicate with others effectively. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Prefer 4 year degree from accredited college. Or related experience can be substituted for education.

2. Ability to pass all appropriate and required screenings including: EDL and any required drug screenings depending on work site.

3. The ability to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

4. Must possess a reliable vehicle or the ability to get to various work sites.

5. Must have a current valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a Missouri Class E (chauffeur’s license) prior to employment.

6. Must abide by personnel policies of LOQW as a condition for employment.

The position is full time, 40 hours per week. The salary range starts at $15.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
