Job Description:
Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for an End User Support Technician. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization. We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional resource to support the IT Services Department in the Dallas, TX facility.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a good technical support background, great communication and customer service skills, be a quick learner, and have the ability to multi-task and solve computing or communications issues in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Ensure customer service is timely and in line with our service standards daily.
· Prioritize customer requests for support based on urgency.
· Require to work well in a team environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills possess a customer-centric mentality in resolving user issues.
· Provide project support to IT initiatives.
· Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate technical support to all customers via phone, email, in person, and remote.
· Support desktop operating systems, hardware, and software.
· Facilitate proper provisioning and follow-through on service requests from users to satisfactory completion, analyzing requests, recommending solutions, and escalating issues, as necessary.
· Utilize Service-Now for proper incident tracking and management of issues.
· Methodical and creative in problem-solving and troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, access, and network issues.
· Build process and help documentation for IT knowledgebase to improve team efficiency.
· Provide C-Level Support.
· Work with cross-functional team members to assess and resolve.
· Special Projects as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or other related areas
· Minimum 2-3 years working in a Service Desk environment
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Strong technical background with the ability to speak with a non-technical audience
· Ability to prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks
· Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
· Basic knowledge of deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstation hardware
and software
· ITIL knowledge preferred
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs
