Liberty GMC is looking to hire a motivated, energetic Finance Manager to join our team and help take our dealerships to new heights. We have multiple high-volume dealerships with one of the most aggressive compensation plans you will find anywhere, the potential to make a career here is boundless! You will be responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used vehicle customers. You will also coordinate all final documentation of vehicle purchases to obtain approval from lender. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Converts cash deals to finance.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources including the manufacturer, as well as seeking new lending institutions.
  • Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
  • Closely monitor and mitigate chargebacks.
  • Processes all federal, state and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction.
  • Understand and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance department.
  • Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to the Business Office.
  • Provides sales force and sales managers with current information about finance and lease programs continually.
  • Trains the staff regarding the benefits of financing, insurance, and extended service programs.
  • Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Coordinates finance forecasting with sales department forecasting to achieve desired levels of penetration and income. Prepares reports on finance penetration, as required.
  • Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Attends manager’s meetings.
  • Trains designated backup to ensure continued efficiency and profitability in the F&I manager’s absence.
  • Follow-up funding and collections of customer’s receivables in compliance with company standards.
  • Provides enthusiastic and professional leadership to shape employees' attitudes and build morale. Strive for harmony and teamwork with all departments.
  • Ensure customer’s complaints are handled tactfully, promptly resolving customer’s disputes and difficulties with professionalism and composure. Refer any problems to supervisor.
  • Other job duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in the retail automotive industry
  • Minimum of 1 year finance manager experience with proven track record
  • Strong Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product offerings.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Background check and reference check required

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
