LIBURDI TURBINE SERVICES™ offers a wide range of engineering services and component repairs in support of the gas turbine industry for flight, aero derivative, and industrial frame engines through facilities located both in Dundas, Ontario and Mooresville, North Carolina. The company specializes in the use of advanced technologies for the refurbishment of superalloy components.

Position Summary:

Successful candidates will become part of an engineering team of highly motivated individuals engaged in the design of repairs and upgrades for gas turbine hot section components at our Mooresville facility. Other duties will include continuous improvement efforts for repair/manufacturing shop efficiency. The candidate needs to posses:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English is required. Bilingualism is an asset
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and interpret component drawings and material specifications.
• Proven ability to commission and complete projects in a manufacturing shop environment
• Initiative and ability to multi-task

Relevant Experience:

We are looking for a mechanical or manufacturing engineering graduate (BEng/ MEng, BASc/ MASc) at 2 levels of experience.

Position 1: Entry Level Engineer:

• 0 to 3 years of industry experience
• Recent graduate with mechanical engineering degree

Position 2: Experienced Engineer:

• 5+ years of gas turbine experience – design, repair, processing or advanced manufacturing
• Demonstrated leadership

Experience in gas turbines, component mechanical design, manufacturing, and machining/welding of superalloys will be considered strong selection attributes.

Experience in the following areas is considered relevant to the position:

• Capable with CAD with preference for Solid Works
• Mechanical design of industrial or aerospace gas turbine components
• Fixture development, design and qualification for processing of hot section components
• Welding, brazing, heat treatments, thermal barrier coating technology (HVOF, APS)

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Background check and drug screen required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
