• hecks dimensions, verifies finished work, and compile documentation required for fabrication and assembly of products or equipment. D
• evelop layouts from predetermined basic drawings. R
• eviews specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations. C
• ontributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations. A
• ssist in the development of integrated project plans, implementation schedules, and cost estimates for major, long-term projects. W
• ork directly with suppliers to enhance existing products and to develop new products. A
• ssist in the development of new suppliers.

ualifications M

• echanical Engineering degree or other applicable Engineering degree 3
• + years’ experience in design engineering preferred E
• xperience with project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools. S
• trong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. U
• nderstanding of manufacturing processes S
• trong mechanical aptitude required M
• ust be hands-on by nature but can delegate when necessary M
• ust be proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office with experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, or another ERP systems a plus. P
• osition requires a self-motivated individual that can take direction and make sound and reasonable decisions at their own discretion. M
• ust be able to work on/manage multiple projects of varying size and scope in parallel with day-to-day responsibilities. M
