Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a .6 English Teacher / .4 Academic Interventionist at Roosevelt High School
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet children’s academic and social-emotional needs.

Hiring requirements:
Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
5-12 English required
Highly Qualified Candidates will possess:
Previous classroom teaching experience.
Experience in an urban school district.
Reading intervention experience
Literacy intervention experience
Development of cycle 2 opportunities for students related to reading/writing
Position Details:
Contract days vary by assignment
7.75 hours
2022-2023 Salary schedule attached. 2023-2024 Salary will be attached upon availability.
Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.
